Avon say; "We've listened to the opinions of more than 2,000 customers worldwide to create this pioneering mascara."
Mega Effects Mascara features the 1st ever brush of it's kind. I know it looks strange at first, but that's just because it's so unique and new!

I've included some images of the brush design to help you get the picture...excuse the pun (image - above-right). You can also see the application process via Avon's YouTube Channel (click here for the video). Full instructions for use are also included with the mascara (image - right).
The brush design does take some getting used to - perfect application on the first use is unlikely, and I found the brush was even more difficult for precise lower lash application, but I guess it just takes practice! Personal tip; In the instructions and online and in the brochure, all the images demonstrate the brush being used to "push the lashes upwards" to apply. Personally, when applying, I found it much easier to "pull the lashes upwards" - I know that probably doesn't make sense in words, so check out the image of the instructions to see what Avon demonstrate, and see the application photo I've included (image - right) to see how I prefer to apply it - If you apply it "from below" and push the lashes up, as Avon suggest, the applicator and your hands obstruct your vision, but apply it "from above" and this is not an issue.

Now let's talk about the mascara itself. It's a volumising formula designed to give you bold, voluptuous lashes for up to 24 hours. My lashes certainly looked thicker, and I love how the new brush design gives you a "wide-eyed" look by lifting the lashes to make your eyes appear "more open". It also gives great definition to your lash line as you can get the bristles right up to the base of the lashes more easily than you can with a usual mascara wand. I've added photos of my lashes after one coat and two coats - you can layer up the mascara for added volume easily as the formula is 100% flake-proof. Avon also say it's "sweat-proof", which I don't think is a very pleasant term, ha! It's available in 3 shades, "Blackest Black", "Brown/Black", and "Navy", and I opted for "Blackest Black". :)
