   The Natural & Nourishing range has been hand made by Ruth with love since 2009. It
started after Ruth attended a Natural and Organic Skincare course. She was inspired to design and produce her own organic skincare, free from harsh ingredients and nasty chemicals, from her own kitchen in Bridport, Dorset. Today, Natural & Nourishing sell an extensive range of glorious skin-loving treats available for both men and women to pamper and protect from head-to-toe!

   A firm favorite of mine is the Rich Moisturiser. It's thick, non-greasy formula is absorbed easily by the skin for an instant hydrating hit. It contains Camellia Oil which is renowned for it’s anti-aging properties – it seems crazy to slap on chemical-packed products when you can use something kind and gentle like this. I like to massage a little into the face and neck after cleansing before bedtime - I wake up to soft, plumped and luminous skin. I use the lavender-fragranced one, which has a relaxing floral aroma to calm and sooth the senses, but it’s also available in Rose Oil,  Geranium, and Vitamin-E.

   For more intense moisturising, body butters are a sure winner. They are especially good on areas where skin commonly suffers from dryness, such as elbows and knees. I love Natural & Nourishing's Whipped Body Butter. It's luxuriously thick creamy texture glides onto the skin, and my Zingy Lemon & Lime one has a delicious invigorating citrus scent. Just a little delivers heavenly hydration to sorry skin. It contains Organic Shea Butter, which may help improve some skin ailments, too. As well as my citrusy Zingy Lemon & Lime fragrance, it’s also available in Tropical Coconut, English Rose, Honey & Almond, Lovely Lavender, Pink Grapefruit, and White Jasmine. There’s sure to be something for everyone!

   For indulgent and effective facial cleansing, look no further than Natural & Nourishing's Organic Face Wash. It's presented in an easy-to-use pump bottle and is available in three refreshing scents or fragrance-free (mine has a calming lavender fragrance). Just a pea-sized amount of silky-smooth product is enough to work up a rich cleansing lather. Some cleansing products can leave the face feeling uncomfortably tight and dry, but the Organic Face Wash won't give your skin this unpleasant feeling moisturises at the same time. The skin feels hydrated and looks fresh, squeaky-clean, and positively radiant!

   We all like to keep on the look-out for local produce, but not many of us think beyond what we eat. There are many toiletries and beauty products available that are produced right on our doorsteps.
   Hand made in Somerset, the Bramley range consists of high-quality nature-inspired delights to pamper you from head-to-toe. The mastermind behind these indulgent treats is Chloë Luxton. She’s no stranger to developing bath and body products, and she’s poured her knowledge and experience into perfecting the Bramley range. The products have a strong connection with nature, from containing the finest essential oils and natural botanicals on the inside, to the eco-friendly packaging and pretty floral labels on the outside.

 On the Bramley website you will find a wide range of single products, as well as gift sets, travel-sized miniatures, wash bags, and even an all-natural fragranced candle scented with uplifting rose and spearmint. A personal favorite of mine has to be the hand cream. It left my hands feeling irresistibly soft and silky smooth, and the zingy grapefruit fragrance is like a burst of sunshine to the senses. It’s the perfect product to follow Bramely’s hand wash, which smells sublime as well as having important antibacterial properties. You’ll also find a range of products to cleanse and indulge the body. A relaxing bath with Bramley’s sweet orange and lavender bubble bath with a sprinkling of lavender and geranium bath salts is sure to help you unwind. If you’re more of a “shower person”, don’t despair! The invigorating mandarin and lemongrass body wash is sure to keep everyone happy. After cleansing, treat yourself to the Bramley body lotion, developed to detoxify and hydrate the skin (tip: excess water will only dilute your moisturising product, so make sure the skin is not too wet before application).

   I’m also a fan of the hair care products. The cleansing shampoo’s rich rosemary and lemon-scented lather is sure to keep your hair squeaky-clean, and the balancing conditioner will keep your hair looking healthy and smelling fresh-as-a-daisy!
